Acquiring Specialization Memory Fragments
Choosing The Right Specialization
Specialization Memory Fragments are a way of further customizing your character in Once Human. They can override your existing Specialization slots, allowing for more flexible builds. You can become more effective at multiple tasks like mining, cooking, forging, or fortifying your base. However, while the Fragments give you more diversity and synergy, the actual abilities are still pulled from the standard four Specialization lists. Farming for Fragments will never yield new or unique powers.
Since Specialization Memory Fragments are so rare, simply consider using a Specialization Memory Cleanse to fully reset your entire build. This saves a lot of time, resources, and possible headaches. However, you cannot achieve the exact same amount of customization that you would with a Fragment. Additionally, the amount of Specialization Memory Cleanses is limited per season, regardless of whether you choose to change worlds in Once Human. In those rare cases, fragments will be your only option to slightly respec.

Acquiring Specialization Memory Fragments
A Random Reward From Strong Bosses
Special Memory Fragments are gained randomly from high-level Silos and Monliths. These are designed to be tackled by an entire multiplayer team. If you don’t have a group of friends to tackle them, try enlisting help from strangers in the same world. However, you can solo some fights with good attacks like a Power Surge build. The chance to get a Fragment is extremely low, and it is highly recommended that you use a Controller to increase the odds.
You can also improve drop rates based on the difficulty mode in Once Human. Do not expect to get a Fragment on the standard Normal Mode. At a minimum, do the encounters in Hard Mode or even Pro Mode if you want better chances.
YouTuber Fringe-Patriot-Gaming tried farming the Special Memory Fragments. With such a low base drop rate, they recommend only going to certain fights. Among the top choices are LEA Research Lab and Forsaken Monolith. However, you can also get Fragments from Prime Wars occurring on the server.
Choosing The Right Specialization
Some Abilities Are Circ*mstantial
Memories are separated into four types: Gathering, Crafting, Building, or Management. Because the Fragments you earn are random, it can be hard to determine if the time investment is right for your build. You may want to store the Fragments for a later time, though they are deleted when a season of Once Human concludes.
